How to help

GMCC has a variety of ways you can assist us in our work.

Volunteering

We seek volunteers in the following areas:

• Administration – assisting with basic office functions such as answering the phones, mail and filing.
• Bus Drivers – we have a 22 seater bus which requires an LR licence to drive. Volunteer bus drivers can assist in transporting groups to activities.
• Assisting with homework help, English classes and other groups. Must be willing to undertake a Working with Children Check for this.

Assisting us with your area of expertise is another way to volunteer. Are you a lawyer who may be happy to do some pro bono work on an as needs basis?

Do you have skills in archiving? Are you interested in helping us plan or work on a particular project. Contact us to talk about how we can use your skills.

GMCC is a registered charity, and donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Join our Management Committee

The Management Committee is the governing body for GMCC. To join, you must be a member, and to be eligible for membership you must live, work or study in the Parramatta, Auburn or Holroyd local Government Areas. The Management Committee meets monthly. For more information, contact the Manager.
