Community Welfare Program

The Community Welfare Worker provides support, crisis counselling, advice, and/or referral to more appropriate services as a first stop to people. If we are not able to help, we will find someone who is able to.

The Welfare Worker works with individuals on a wide range of issues including housing, income support, budgeting, and liaising with government departments. The program also provides groups and activities which change and develop depending on the needs and interests of the community.

This project is funded by the Department of Community Services.
